Sandile (Poke Ball Pattern) Grading ROI | CardIntel
Grading scenario calculator · USD
See what grading would cost.
Explore grade values, submission fees and your own outcome weights. Presets are illustrative assumptions, with no measured probability of a grade or sale.
Fee schedules reviewed . Availability and final charges can change.
1. Set your assumptions
Raw basis: no eligible dated reference. Enter your own assumption to begin. Shipping and insurance start at illustrative amounts of $15 and $5 per card; adjust both for your order. Batch size only changes bulk eligibility.
US direct submissions. Value services are paused. Listed turnaround ranges are estimates. Official fees
Enter each USD amount from 0 to 1,000,000, with at most two decimal places. A blank amount is unknown.
2. Inspect each outcome
Edit the relative weights; positive values are normalized to 100%. Zero-weight outcomes stay out of the weighted result. Each row uses its own value bracket for estimated fees. Numeric grade buckets do not distinguish every label, subgrade or certification variant.

Supplier medians appear only when the card, printing, language, current mapping, date and sample checks pass. Other rows use the displayed illustrative multiplier. Combined lower-grade buckets always use assumptions. These values do not establish the grade or price of your copy.
Guide
This calculator combines your raw basis, per-card shipping and insurance, outcome-specific grading fees and editable grade weights. Weights and value multipliers are illustrative assumptions, not measured grade probabilities. Missing reference prices remain unknown until you enter a value.
How is ROI calculated?
Each outcome subtracts raw basis, its own service fee, shipping and insurance from the assumed graded value. The weighted net is divided by raw basis plus weighted grading costs. Selling fees, taxes, duties, optional services and order charges are excluded.
Where do values come from?
A linked card may start with an eligible dated published reference. URL amounts and edits are manual assumptions. Graded rows use independently bound, dated supplier medians only when identity, printing, language, mapping and recent sample checks pass; otherwise the displayed multiplier is illustrative. A mixture of sources stays labeled row by row.
Which fee schedules are included?
US direct-submission PSA, BGS and CGC fees were reviewed on September 6, 2026. Paused tiers are excluded. Each outcome uses its own value bracket; CGC bulk requires 25 cards, and percentage charges and PSA premium overages are included. Beckett insured-value limits remain unverified. Check the linked official pages for current availability and final charges.
What do the weights mean?
Condition presets are uncalibrated scenario assumptions. You can edit each relative weight; positive weights are normalized and zero-weight outcomes do not affect the weighted result. Numeric grade buckets do not distinguish every certification variant. Results do not predict the condition, grade, sale price or profit of an individual card.
Frequently asked questions
What does grading ROI measure?▾
It divides weighted scenario net value by total modeled cost: raw basis plus grading fees, shipping and insurance. Selling costs and taxes are excluded.
Are the grade weights measured probabilities?▾
No. Presets are illustrative assumptions, with no calibrated chance of a grade or sale. You can edit the weights to explore different scenarios.
Why can different outcomes have different fees?▾
Grading companies use value brackets and may apply upcharges. The model selects a fee for each outcome separately, using the higher of raw basis and graded value. Final charges and declared-value rules are determined by the company.
What happens when a card has no eligible reference price?▾
The raw value stays blank. Enter your own USD assumption to calculate; missing prices are not replaced with a default dollar value.
Can I include marketplace selling fees?▾
The grading result excludes selling fees. The comparison link opens the Sell Fee Calculator with the weighted graded value, raw basis and weighted grading costs filled in.
