How to use set price guides for Pokémon and MTG collections.

Set-level coverage, top cards, and movers built from daily reference snapshots.

Published 2026-06-02

Set hubs aggregate card counts, priced coverage, average reference values, rarity mix, and recent movers for a single release. They are the fastest way to orient within a set before drilling into individual card pages.

Browse set directory

Pick a release and open its set hub.

What each set page includes

Every set hub lists how many cards are tracked, what percentage currently carry usable reference prices, and the highest/lowest reference values inside the release.

Top cards are ranked by trusted reference value — not a suppressed outlier snapshot. Latest movers highlight meaningful day-over-day snapshot changes where comparable history exists.

Pokémon TCG vs Magic: The Gathering coverage differences

Pokémon sets often include TCGPlayer market fields and may link to the Set EV calculator for sealed products. MTG sets use Scryfall-backed catalog data with reference snapshots; activity volume proxies may be unavailable on MTG pages.

How to read movers on a set page

Percentage changes compare the latest daily snapshot to the nearest prior comparable point — not live exchange ticks. A +12% day label means snapshot-based movement, which is appropriate for catalog refreshes rather than intraday trading.

From set hub to card-level decisions

Open the full set list in Price Guide for sorting and filters. For selling or grading decisions, jump to the Sell Fee or Grading ROI calculators with a specific card loaded from its detail page.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I browse all Pokémon and MTG sets?

Visit /sets for the full directory with priced coverage percentages and preview images, then open any /sets/{setId} hub.

Are set prices real-time?

No. CardIntel stores daily-dated reference snapshots. Each card and set view reflects the latest sync timestamp available for that data source.

Why is priced coverage below 100% on some sets?

New releases, low-market cards, or missing marketplace fields may lack a publishable reference price. Coverage metrics are shown explicitly so you know how complete the set view is.

Can I see expected value for opening packs?

For supported Pokémon sealed products, use the Set EV calculator. MTG sealed EV is withheld until product-specific slot models ship.
