How does the CardIntel sell fee calculator work?▾
You enter a sale price and optional cost basis. CardIntel applies marketplace-specific seller fees, payment processing, per-order fixed fees, and a shipping assumption for each venue, then ranks results by estimated net profit after your basis.
What eBay fees does the calculator use in 2026?▾
The reference model uses 13.25% final value fee (no eBay Store), $0.30 fixed fee on orders up to $10 or $0.40 above $10, and about $4.50 shipping unless you set a custom shipping amount for all marketplaces.
What TCGPlayer seller fees are included?▾
The calculator models 10.75% commission, 2.5% transaction fee, and $0.30 per order, plus a $1.00 default shipping assumption for a plain white envelope style shipment.
Does net profit include my card cost basis?▾
Yes. Net profit after basis subtracts your entered acquisition cost and any extra costs from sale proceeds after marketplace fees and shipping. Cash after fees but before basis is shown separately for platform-only comparison.
Which marketplace usually has the lowest fees for TCG cards?▾
It depends on sale price and shipping. Local card show sales often have 0% platform fees but no online reach. Cardmarket can be efficient for EU sellers at scale. TCGPlayer is competitive for singles volume in the US. Use the ranked table for your exact price point.
Are CardIntel fee results guaranteed?▾
No. Figures are educational estimates based on reference rates last reviewed in March 2026. Promotions, subscriptions, international orders, and category-specific eBay rates can change your true net.
Can I compare grading costs before selling?▾
Yes. Link to the Grading ROI calculator from this page to model whether grading upside exceeds submission costs before you choose a selling venue.
